Se trata de un grupo de tumores infiltrativos con tendencia a invadir areas cerebrales con alta funcionalidad. Su tratamiento es complejo y tienden a recidivar y malignizarse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">En el trabajo pacientes con glioma grado II ya operados que presentaban lesi\u00f3n residual o recurrencia fueron aleatorizados en dos grupos: el grupo de tratamiento que recibi\u00f3 el f\u00e1rmaco Vorasidenib y un grupo placebo. El objetivo principal del trabajo fue determinar el intervalo libre de progresi\u00f3n y la necesidad de un nuevo tratamiento quir\u00fargico derivado de dicha progresi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Se incluyeron m\u00e1s de 300 pacientes objetiv\u00e1ndose c\u00f3mo el intervalo libre de enfermedad fue significativamente mayor en el grupo de pacientes que recibi\u00f3 Vorasidenib, 27 meses, frente al grupo placebo, 11 meses. Por su parte, el periodo transcurrido para una nueva intervenci\u00f3n result\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n significativamente mayor en el grupo de tratamiento frente al grupo placebo.
